  Super nice and quiet Homestay, friendly family very nice location: walking distance to all the important restaurants and access to the beach (rocks) through the backyard. Good for a sunset swim with the volcano. The food is excellent and they will cook even late in the evenings for you. The private room is around 20bucks with private bathroom and fan. Gets nice and cool at night. No party place, perfect to recharge batteries. No own kitchen but boiled water can be asked for.

  A great family business that is very caring during your stay. They are in a nice area and have a two massive mango trees in the front which they kindly allowed us to pick mangos each morning! Great value for money. Also rented us scooters and did our laundry for a very reasonable price.

  Nice hostel with a good location. There a mosquito nets for the beds, which we very much needed. The owners are super friendly and helpful with organising tours. Scooters can be rented there or next door, if not available.

  Had a wonderful stay here. Spacious private rooms at a great price. The service was also really nice. The staff were very kind. They had really good breakfast options. Location was great too in the center of too. Wifi was decent as well and was able to work remotely with a nice outdoor area to work at.

  We absolutely loved staying at Mi Tierra. Fernando and his family were absolutely amazing making sure that we had everything we needed! They also rent scooters if needed. The rooms are simple but perfect for the price! At the moment they are finishing up a new balcony area for the restaurant and bar which already looks really cool! We recommend staying here if you’re on a budget and want to have more local experience! They also offer nice wood cabins on the water with a kitchen and living room! Will definitely come again!! :))
