  I stayed 4 nights at the Casona, planed was one but I really liked the peaceful vibe and the amazing owner. I can just recommend you to stay here.

  Nice pool, amazing owner, great for having a beer in the evening too. The owner helped us a lot when we needed him. Perfect if you have a scooter.

  This is such a cool little place to stay that's only been open for 9 months. It would be easy to make this place your base for exploring the island. The family work so hard to make your stay enjoyable here. We only came to stay one night before catching the boat back to the mainland but ended up staying 2 more. Michael can rent you a scooter or can even taxi you to where you need to go. The food is delicious although not big portions but also not as expensive as the other places in San José. The wifi is very good as there was a few people streaming and others using it but still fast. Not a busy or touristy place. We were the only guests here but that's how we like it. Pigs, chickens and dogs wandering about and locals chilling out front catching up on the news or getting a few things from the shop. Come and give this hard working family a visit and you won't be disappointed. 😉

  Great family owners who really go above and beyond. Loved my stay here. Food prepared on site was delicious as well
