  Absolutely loved this place! Super calm, peaceful and very well thought through. Like a luxury California beach house, but on a volcano! Staff were delightful (thanks Miguel 😉) and very helpful. The only tricky part is the road: I struggled with a scooter, particularly going up hill. It’s possible, but the risk of damaging the scooter (or yourself) is pretty high - really you need an atv. They were kind enough to help me take me backpack up and down though, I don’t think I’d have made it otherwise!

  Wow. What an incredible little hidden paradise in Ometepe. If you are looking for a quiet place where you can rest and be surrounded by nature, this is your place! My partner and I are just so sad we didn't get to stay longer. They offer breakfast for an additional US$5.00 per person, which I strongly recommend you try! Ours came with freshly squeezed juice, really good coffee, a bowl of fruits, and a traditional plate of Nicaraguan Breakfast. All the people that work at the guesthouse were so warm and welcoming. I loved talking to them. The current road to the guest house is a bit rough to drive, we were still able to make it on our scooter though!

  After only 30 seconds you will see that this is a 5 star place! The staff are amazing, the views are stunning, the amenities are clean and modern and eco friendly. We made the drive up on a scooter and had no problems. It was a lovely ride! I think they improved their road up the mountain recently. Highly recommend!!

  Staff treated us like family and was very sweet to our relentlessly inquisitive daughter. Also appreciated the dog who escorted us to all of our activities on the Island. Don Miguel is the host with the most. He aims to please and all of the tour operators/drivers/rental he put us in touch with were highly ethical and great to deal with. The Guest House is remote enough that you can commune with nature, but within a 15 minute walk to the more chic evening spots on the Island (El Pital; Campestre). As much as I love nature, I didn't want it joining me in bed, so it was nice to sleep within a very well enclosed concrete wall apartment. Place is immaculate and has splendid views of Concepcion. Visiting their sister property higher up the hill to swim and watch the sunset was one of our favorite activities.

  Amazing apartment in the wild including lots of animals to see and hear. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the hosts were super cooperative helping us out with all our questions! The picture shows the view from the terrace 😍
