::We visited this island for the day and it was absolutely amazing. Felt like we were in paradise, although we didn’t stay the night, the accommodation looked fab. Definitely worth a visit. It’s like having your own little island 🥰

::I visited in June of 2021. Some of the little cabins were still there, but it’s mostly just the guard in his cabin. So there’s no way to reserve the resort, or book a cabin. We took a boat from Little Corn Island; make sure you’re ready to leave early in the morning to catch the best currents. About 1.5-2hrs by boat. Our tour guide, Elvis, brought lunch and we made a day of walking around the island and swimming in the water. Our guide said that if we had wanted we could have spent the night and had a BBQ as well, but we didn’t have time. Really wish we would have! The island is not big, but for 9 people it was the perfect size. The ocean was a beautiful color and temperature, and we had mild wind and waves. So beautiful! This day on the island is one of my favorite memories of my Nicaragua adventure!

::A unique experience! The sand is white, a lot of beach for snorkeling, sunbathing, taking a nap, enjoying the scenery, taking photos. The place is completely a paradise!
Pink Pearl

::The locals are very friendly and nice they work well with the island owners. We visited 3 islands. Pink Pearl was the nicest of all. The beach is white and fine the water was crystal clear. The island and has no insects. Nicaragua is very safe and calm. Pink Pearl or Grape cay is a jewel on the Caribeban ocean. It has a small resort that costs $500 per day including the boat ride and the island to yourself. It is owned by a local. The neighbouring resort that is just being built by a European will charge $7000 a day! Tourism in the Pearl cays is now booming in Nicaragua. PINK PEARL RESORT was the best Caribbean tropical place we visited in over 10 years. The Seafood was delicious. The Pink Pearl Resort staff were all polite and took us snorkeling and fishing. We paid at the boat to the manager upon arrival. Can also pay by credit card at any local hotel. The other couple with us paid by Trip Advisor. We visited on February but we will return back there very soon!
