::It’s not luxury accommodation but luxury of heartwarming treats from the landlady of this pretty lodge in Laguna de Perlas. Clean and super friendly. We spend our wedding anniversary on 25 February 2020 and were treated to the most amazing experience in terms of the trip to the Pearl Keys which she organised all included with her cooking of a Rondon (the local delicacy), fishing and snorkelling on the beautiful shallow waters and coral reefs around the keys. We fished our own dinner, couldn’t get any fresher, a mammoth fish which was cooked deliciously for dinner. This followed a special performance of the landlady´s grandkids who danced in front of us to their traditional and intoxicating Garifuna tunes. All in all a truly unforgettable experience and we have loads of proud photos and videos to confirm it and remind us forever.
