  Whenever I walked past this hotel, it was closed due to a lack of tourists. I've stayed twice in the neighboring hostel "Buen Amigo". The wooded area around the island is tranquil and beautiful, with plenty of birds to see and flowering bushes, especially hibiscus. You can safely swim in the relatively clear water of Lake Nicaragua from the nearby boat dock. Thanks to low light pollution, a clear starry sky and shooting stars can often be seen at night. Unfortunately, the Solentiname Islands are one of the wettest areas in Nicaragua, so that four weeks after the theoretical end of the rainy season, there are still heavy downpours every day, while it has hardly rained in the area around Granada since November.

  Basic hotel. Clean, the facility is getting old. The food is really worth mentioning. The food here is excellent. There is a menu, no menu. Everything freshly and lovingly presented.
