  Very clean and quiet place, rooms are small but have comfy beds, powerful fan and a bathroom. WiFi worked and the staff was friendly. Paid 400 cordobas.

  Very clean. Comfortable. Close to bus station and lake, but not too close. Not expensive (US$12 per night). No English speaking staff. Not mosquito proof. Nowhere to hang a mosquito net. Nice people. Best value for money in San Carlos.
