::I had the vegan yucca for dinner the other night along with the fresh celery/orange juice. It was topped off with apple cake for desert. The owner and staff are super friendly residents of Ometepe Island, Nicaragua. A great stop on the way to/from a volcano hike.

::I woke up late from a nap and rushed around at about 8:45 pm looking for food. I flew by this place and hit the dirt road on my moto in the dark so decided to turn around. I slowed down to see if they were still open. The nice lady saw that I was "panicked" and invited me in even though they were closed. I had roast chicken with rice and a lemonade which was all very good. They are friendly and I'm grateful that she accommodated me.

::We ate their for dinner...cozy feeling with great food and a lovely host. I can totally recommend the vegetarian empanada and the tacos with chicken. The fresh lemonade is very tasty as well, since not so sweet as you might usually get it...refreshing! The place appears to ne quite new, just a 2 minute walk at the crossing right to Hostel Santa Cruz.
