  Beautiful location overlooking beautiful Laguna Apoyo. Property is well maintained, great room (Casita Mango) with fans, AC and kitchen. Feels homey. Kids liked the bunk beds, we liked the queen. Owner is fantastic and super helpful (trilingual+), his staff (Marta and Miguel) took great care of us and the property And her breakfasts, both Nicaragua and Pancakes, were delicious and filling) Highlight of our trip!

  Amazing spot, their deck view is fantastic, plus the staff is very attentive and welcoming, ideal to spend a quiet weekend with the beatiful lagoon in front of the lodge at an affordable price, thank you Benjamin for your warmth and friendliness, we'll be visiting again soon!

  There are cabanas as well as camping available at Ben’s house. Ben is a friendly guy who owns this property, an avid world traveler himself, he can tell you about places to see in Nicaragua and Central America. Place is clean because there is a full time handyman on property 6 days per week doing repairs and cleaning

  Benjamin greeted us after the night fell so that we can sleep in his parking lot with our GMC Safari. It has 2 beautiful casa available on airbnb if you ever look for comfort. Benjamin and his wife are really adorable and offered us toilet, shower, drinking water, electricity and wifi. Their garden is a real haven of peace with a superb deck and even a brazier !! The lake is 10m from the garden and the View is amazing !! We loved it there !

  Our stay in Casita Mango was wonderful. The place feels like a piece of paradise - secluded, surrounded by nature. It is a place to meditate and relax, as well as to do some active sports - we swam in the lake, did some kayaking and hiking (along the lake and up the hill to Diria, and then via El Caballito back from Catarina, and met some friendly monkeys on the way). Benjamin is truely a superhost, welcoming and is always there to help when you need, so feel safe to reach out to him and book directly (and avoid the extra booking fees). We also used the taxi driver recommended by Benjamin, who picked us up by a supermarket in Masaya (make sure to do all the shopping ahead), recommended as well. The casita was well-equipped, we found everything we needed for our stay. The premises are huge, with a beatiful garden, a barbecue, and lots of spots to comfortably spend your time outdoors, and with a stunning view of the lake. Do not miss out and make sure to stop for at least a few days - our kid didn't want to leave, and had tears in his eyes :)
