  Cozy and peaceful mornings every day. Warm, welcoming, and delicious dinners every evening. Maria and her staff Jayson, Wendy, and Mirna all made our stay incredible. I didn’t know what to expect in Matagalpa, but they surpassed what I could’ve expected. 10/10, I recommend!

  Casa Brenes gave the flavour of what I would find in Nicaragua. The staff and owner are extremely respectful, open to client’s needs, accommodative and keeping the sanitary standards in the place. Also, it is affordable and treat people as family. i will definitely comeback.

  I stayed at Casa Brenes for several weeks in 2019. The rooms are very neat with good amenities. From Maria, the owner, and her family to Wendy who was in charge of keeping the place spic and spam, you feel like this is family. This is your home away from home. If there is anything that you need, just ask. They will go out of their way to give you what you need! Mike
