  I recently got to experience Rise Up at the Eco Bay location in Nicaragua and absolutely loved it! It was an intimate experience with a small group size with all fellow solo travelers. I was a beginner surfer and was lucky to have one on one coaching experience that really gave me a solid foundation and helped me feel comfortable on the board. They would also always ensure to take us to the right beach at the right time of day to get the best waves possible tailored to our skill levels. All the meals were delicious and I greatly enjoyed all the activities, getting to see more of the local culture. The yoga and add-on massages were also a great mix to help the body recover. All staff were super friendly, great at what they did, and ensured a smooth trip for us all. Was special to be able to unplug and be present, would highly recommend! :)

  Just sign up! I cannot recommend Rise Up enough. My sister and I attended the Jungle Escape location and loved it. The grounds were gorgeous and located right on the beach. The food and staff were amazing. The Rise Up staff were the best. They are great people in general but also very knowledgeable and great coaches. I went into the week a very inexperienced surfer and finished the week feeling like I had learned a lot and improved greatly. The whole experience is 10/10 and I can’t say enough good things about it.

  I visited the beautiful Eco Luxury lodge in Costa Rica on my second Rise Up trip. The entire week was well planned by the excellent Rise Up staff to provide all guests with an adventurous vacation of a lifetime without any hassle or worry. The surf coaches were excellent teachers, providing great feedback and making sure we felt safe while we were learning and having fun. I can't wait to book another Rise Up trip!

  A very belated review but I stayed at Rise Up Nicaragua for Christmas week 2021 and haven’t stopped recommending it to others since. So many thoughtful touches throughout the week, beautiful location with waves right out front, excellent coaching in 2’s and 3’s with all levels catered for from complete beginner up to advanced. Great mix of surf coaching, photo reviewing, theory and optional ‘holiday’ activities for those who wanted to participate. We had early starts to go with the tides but it wasn’t a problem and sunrise surfing was a lovely experience. Food was delicious and dietary requirements well catered for. Rise Up team were all super lovely and welcoming. I’ll 100% be back for another Rise Up week at some point! Thanks for having me :)

  I absolutely loved my stay with Rise Up Surf at the Tranquil Escape in Nicaragua. It's the perfect trip for surfers at any level looking to enjoy world-class surf instruction, learn about surf theory, and have a locals-only stress-free experience of Nicaragua. I'm a beginner-level surfer, but after the week in Nicaragua with helpful instruction from our surf coaches, I feel empowered to continue surfing on my own. The surf coaches did a great job making the time in the water fun, and weaving helpful tips throughout the week. The food was excellent, nutritious and yummy. I liked that the daily schedule was presented every day the night before, and there was still flexibility if you didn't want to participate in some of the activities or early morning surf, as an example. I strongly recommend Rise Up Surf for anyone interested in improving their surf skills and wanting an authentic local experience.
