I really like this hotel, it’s probably the nicest hotel in Matagalpa. It’s actually not a hotel, it’s supposed to be a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was pretty good, but very small and basic. The hotel room was very nice. The people working there were also very nice. I found checking in was a little bit tough, it’s not like a normal hotel. You have to call the hotel to let them know that you’re coming, then you have to go through the whole process of checking in. We ended up waiting outside of This place for 15 minutes so we can park the car inside. So I felt that was a drag. Otherwise I would highly suggest his place to stay if you visit this town.

Overall, I had a great experience the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect . The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous botanical gardens , and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. And don’t let me forget They grow their signature Family Coffee .

We recently stayed at Montebrisa and did not want to leave. If you need to stay in Matagalpa, look no further. The place is an oasis in the middle of the city, the gardens are amazing, the rooms all of them beautiful and have everything you might need while staying there. The staff were a delight and helped in any way they could regardless what time of day or night it was. We had an amazing breakfast each morning included in the room cost and no matter what time we could have tea and coffee made for us. The owner called when we arrived to welcome us and when we left to say goodbye, a truly nice touch. When we return to Matagalpa we will certainly be booking in to the Montebrisa.

Montebrisa is so beautiful. A retreat within the city. We loved the tranquil setting that Rita has created .The gardens are exquisite. So many flowers, plants, and trees. We so enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it to others traveling to Matgalpa.
