During the week- Great place for families, peaceful, right on the beach, great kitchen and amazing hosts. During the weekend it is very noisy (music from the nearby party)

Recommeded! The beach is right out of the door, pacific waves sound from the window. Rooms are very spacious, new and clean. AC available. Don't expect hot water, though. Common kitchen nicely equipped, dining table big enough for 12 people, and a grill that you can take outside and barbicue the fish/lobsters you bought from the guy next door. Stayed here as two families, and enjoyed the sea and tranquiliy. Place is owned by a lovely family, who also deliver all the services, including cleaning, cheap laundry and information about the area. They even rented us their 4x4 for a day. Gigante is a fisherman village with some tourists, so the beach is lively and you can see the boats go and return. There are some parties in the weekends in the neighbor bars, so either you're in it or you'll suffer from the noise until late hours.

Absolutely gorgeous colonial villa in the little but picturesque fishing town of Playa Gigante. The staff is extremely helpful, welcoming and accommodating. We had the chance to meet the owner/occasional-barman in the third floor terrace. We had a great time talking to him about his time as a journalist/war correspondent and how he ended up buying a piece of land in 2013 in Nicaragua's beautiful Playa Gigante. Just for the stories and drinks served by Donald this enchanting piece of paradise is worth visiting but this little bay (the Gigante name is ironic) is also absolutely breathtaking.

From the moment we arrived we were pampered and treated like honored guests. The staff was warm and friendly the food delicious, fresh andeell presented. The owner, who lives on the hotel grounds, was wonderful and if encouraged will surely regale you with one of his many tales of his adventurous life.

This place has an amazing staff, beautiful rooms, and the management is very professional. Highly recommend if you are looking for a luxury stay in Gigante. Without a doubt, the most beautiful place on the beach.
