Low season doesnt stop the die hard surf and fish lovers. GB has everything you need for tranquilo or divertido. You cant beat the beach here, waves can be intimidating, but at the right time, its paradise! Bring cash and a plan for your belongings if you're in the water😉

Chilled cool place. Nice food with friendly staff. Place is right on the water and walking distance to small shops. Pricing for the rooms are stupidly expensive for what you get. It is a very basic room with a fan and no towels or anything else in the room. This place must be the most expensive rooms for what you get on allcof Central America and we have been travelling here for more than a year. It is as if they just sit and laugh ro see who are stupid enough to pay for the rooms. They wanted 5us for camping on the beach per person. They lnow how to milk tourist that's for sure. Also over weekend when busy the bar patrons and restaurant people use the same toilets and even pee in the showers which are for the hostel guest. The rooms and toilets and showers needs a serious upgrade. Bottom line is go look for another place to stay but by all means party there. Their pizzas and food are really good.

Awesome place to stay at low rates. Nice funky resto and great people stopping by to stay or dine and drink from all over. Ask for the bungalows as the spots are very peaceful and away from the busy beach or nearby streets. Will need to be patient when water goes out as they have to call a guy to come over and it won't happen pronto. Short hike to go to Playa Redonda, an even better beach,

Great beach! Few hostels and restaurants in Gigante. It's a calm place and relaxing. The rooms are very simple but ok, cabins are better. I didn't like the water when taking a bath, it felt sticky and weird. Food is pricey.

A fantastic place to stay for a couple of days or a couple of months. Very relaxed environment. A lot of backpackers passing through. Right on the beach for swimming, surfing, sailing, etc. Good pizza too.
