  Loved my 3 night stay here! Will definitely be back. Great breakfast included and legit hot outdoor showers in a beautiful garden setting! Bed super comfortable and cozy, clean room. Owners were very helpful.

  Was so great to experience the tranquil setting after a month in urban Nicaragua. Great rooms, amazing hosts and serving staff. Reasonably priced for the experience.

  We love San Simian and Laguna Apoyo, it is such a treat to stay here. Daniel, the owner, speaks English, German, French, and Spanish and is so kind and hospitable. The view from the hillside is amazing and mornings here are so special. The food is delicious and the accommodations are very comfortable and nestled in beautiful nature. Everyone working here is incredibly friendly and helpful. We miss you all and can’t wait to come back!

  Have stayed at San Simian many times, most recently in March 2022. Accommodations are comfortable/clean and just a few steps from the Laguna. Four of the five feature outdoor bathrooms with hot water. The just completed Limon, has two bed rooms w/ AC and indoor bathrooms. An upstairs sitting area w/ TV, wet bar, dining table. Good for families. The property in magnificently landscaped. There are bars down by the Laguna and up the hill at the restaurant/office. The food is excellent and a good value. Beer is cold. The staff is friendly and attentive. Birds and monkeys abound. The property is tranquil and away from the day tripper spots up near the Triangle. A restful night’s sleep and excellent breakfast are assured.
