::The energy of Reserva Los Nogales is indescribable. The love that the owners and staff have poured into their ecolodge is so evident. The layout of the lodge, nestled in the cloud forest is very well designed and cozy. I love the family vibe of eating together in the outdoor kitchen space. The food that they cook is incredible, organic, and so healthy!! We also loved the room we stayed in and the way that they put fresh flowers everywhere! The abundance of nature, water, and life is almost overwhelming here. Visiting Macizo Penas Blancas is such a unique experience, and getting to be a part of a beautiful project that Los Nogales has created is really something else! You will want to spend a good amount of time here to really explore the land and feel the energy of this magical place!

::This place is a dream. The mountains, waterfall, birds, and especially the people. I stayed for 4 months and am so impressed by this project. Their commitment to reforestation, sustainability, and community is very beautiful. I highly recommend visiting Los Nogales if you want to experience a relaxing place with a magical feeling.

::We are three friends who visited Penas Blancas for the ultimate rural hiking experience in Nicaragua. Staying at Nogales was a perfect option (we felt right in the heart of the jungle) but at the same time, safe in a clean cabinita. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and will look after you well. We thoroughly appreciated their hospitality and kindness and even got to enjoy their tasty food options. We would recommend a stay here.

::I have now had two beautiful experiences at Los Nogales with Margaux and Matute, along with their son Nogal and the rest of the family and community they are cultivating there. I visited originally in 2016 because of a family friend connection and was immediately immersed in and taken by the magic of the land - the rainforest, waterfalls, rocky cliffs, and lushness of the plants being cultivated in this permaculture space. I recently returned to Los Nogales in April for a retreat practice living in harmony with humans and nature in pop-up eco-community. This was incredibly powerful for me to be apart of, I learned so much about myself, being in relationship with others and something bigger than myself. I also started looking more deeply at the feminine lineage within me surrounded by powerful women, mothers, sisters and children. I feel my connection to these particular humans, their land and community is something very special and meaningful on my life path, more than I can know now, and I’m so grateful to be connected to this place all the love, beauty and reciprocity being fostered there. Go visit Los Nogales, it may very well touch your life in unexpected and profound ways. ✨💗

::If you enjoy nature and want to experience unspoilt rainforest the journey to Reserva Los Nogales is well worth taking. We spent 3 days at Los Nogales at the foot of the the stunning Peñas Blancas. With patchy phone signal this is the perfect place to switch off and unwind. We hiked to the top of the Peñas Blancas through lush rainforest and spotted some fantastic birdlife. The accommodation is quite basic (cold showers) but it is exactly what you need to switch off and immerse yourself in nature.
