::Pali is the supermarket we use most of the time while traveling through Ocotal. It's nothing fancy but is by far the cheapest supermarket out of the three we've been to in Ocotal. It has quite good variety and the staff are mostly nice if not a bit indifferent. They are happy to take dollars or card which is great for those on vacation. They also have free restrooms which are kept moderately clean, a rarity in this part of Nicaragua.

::Pali is Pali. It's no 5 star supermarket. Prices are cheap and the selection is limited. Overall, it has a little bit of everything. One note about this Pali: the ATM machine closes early. After about 5 or 6 you can't get money from this ATM.
