::Arrived in El Castillo to the warm greeting of the family run Nena Lodge. The private room with bath was simple, clean, and had a perfect local charm. The common area second floor porch has great hammocks where I could people watch as well as enjoy river views. Took a nature tour with the Nena Lodge guides and had an adventure of a lifetime. Great Wi-Fi, coffee and breakfast everyday. What more could you want when looking to venture hours into the beautiful jungles of Nicaragua. I highly recommend Nena Lodge and Tours if visiting El Castillo.
