::This is not a beach front hotel. You don't really have ocean views. The place is small. Pictures show the place is a lot bigger than it really is. Service was negligent. So we decided not to stay there.

::I did not feel welcome here. When my girlfriend and I came to the restaurant on Monday afternoon, we were told that we had to reserve in advance, even though almost all the tables were free. It was obvious that we were not wanted there. I felt so humiliated at this point that I would have preferred to leave immediately. When my girlfriend asked if we could make a spontaneous reservation, the waitress told us that we would have to order food and drinks for at least 40 dollars. I have never seen an empty restaurant where you have to spend 40 dollars to be allowed to sit at a table. Apparently only certain people are wanted here, everyone else is pressured to leave under pretexts.

::A beautiful oasis tucked inside Las Peñitas, Leon. Catalina, her husband , and the staff were truly the best and super accommodating. The views of the bungalows breathtaking, close to the beach, and delicious fresh food! Lots of activities available too , will come back to try them!

::Beautiful little hotel. The pool and relaxing area is well landscaped with nice trees and plants to provide great shade. The pool is clean and an amazing spot to chill. Walk up the beach for a ton of meal options or hang out right at the hotel with great food and service. Can't wait to return.

::We enjoyed our stay at the Nayal Lodge very much. Our room was very spacious and the AC was so quiet that you could barely hear it. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The pool is perfectly maintained daily, very clean and the garden around the pool and the Restaurant are beautiful. Catalina and Jose are such a nice couple and you can feel that they really enjoy what they are doing. There are always around and take care of everything. It's such a peaceful and cozy place to stay. Catalina loves to cook and you will believe it once you taste her paella, her spaghetti or anything else that she prepares: It's absolutely delicious. If you have time go on the Juan Venado Tour to see how the release the baby turtles and ride with the boat through the mangroves. It's an amazing experience and Catalina can help you organize it.
