  I have traveled quite a bit and can say, without hesitation, this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The beach there is a dream. The staff and service are amazing. The food is delicious. Wish I could give even more stars!

  Though the hotel is presently closed due to what seems to have been the result of the slowdown in tourism in Nicaragua after the civil unrest last year. Mukul Beach Club is still open weekends. The service, drinks, food and ambience were superb. Great beach and pool. The staff is warm, attentive and spoke English very well. A slightly upscale beach club without the fuss.

There is something about this place that lets you know that you have arrived ...at an amazing destination, an amazing place in life, a privileged status, a place of peace and serenity. The BOHIOs - the treetop bungalows have spectacular views, comfort, and luxury.   What an amazing experience! If you are looking to "treat yourself", feel pampered, and relax - Mukul is the place to be! The service is excellent and the property is gorgeous! From a private beach, to coffee & tea served in bed, beautiful pools, yoga, an incredible spa and wonderful food - we had a blast! The staff was accommodating and so helpful from the moment we arrived. They helped us organize a day trip to an island (although their feedback is that you don't want to leave - which is true!) but gave us the opportunity to explore Nicaragua. Our stay was wonderful! Looking forward to going back in the future!
