  This place is magical!! The pictures online don’t do it justice. The views from Magnific Rock are mesmerizing. The location cannot be beat — you are steps away from one of the main breaks below and can watch people surf from your balcony. And most importantly, the people that work there are the greatest. I did the all inclusive surf package and had 2 amazing surf guides, Billy and Brian. It was the best surf trip of my life. They not only provided great 1:1 coaching that allowed me to significantly progress my surfing skills, but were also awesome guys to hang out with in and out of the water. On the final day, we took a boat trip to Lancer’s Left where I ended the trip with the wave of my life. Thanks for everything guys! I’ll be back soon!

  This is a must-go destination for surfers and those that enjoy the vibe. Their location, the surf, the facilities and staff are excellent and to be recognized. "Mag Rock" overlooks a nunber of great breaks enabling you to choose which to take advantage of the tide and swell for some serious surfing. We really enjoyed the staff, both housekeeping and the kitchen, who ensured we had the best experience. In summary, Magnific Rock is a diamond in the rough: enjoy it while you can.

  This was our second time staying at Mag Rock and we have nothing but amazing feedback to give to anyone considering visiting for any amount of time. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The food is delicious and the menu is diverse. The view and location is one of the most beautiful you can find anywhere in the world. If you’re even remotely a surfer it’s tough to find a more ideal spot to score epic waves all day every day. My only regret was not staying longer.

  One of the most amazing experiences of my life- and I’m a traveler who has been and lived all over the world!! The waves are incredible and are worth traveling for, but it’s really the people who set this experience apart. Billy and Brian (surf instructors), Hank (photographer), and Jackson (owner) are amazing, talented, and kind individuals who will give you their all. They put their hearts into your Nicaraguan experience, be it through surf, yoga, food or chill vibes. I wanted to leave a bad review so that I wouldn’t have to share a wave with you when I return, but I’d get bad karma for doing that— so, see you out there!! :)

  I loved watching sunset here! You have perfect views of the rock, the beach, and all the surfers at beginners bay. The food was great and priced fairly! I had a shrimp pasta dish that was absolutely amazing! I would recommend arriving an hour before sunset so that you can have your choice of the perfect seat. When I arrived, it was virtually empty, but about 20 mins before the sun set, groups of people started to arrive. Would highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!
