  Great food, tasty and well presented. The atmosphere was a little dark, very little light and no fans...., Could be so much nicer.. 🤔

  I'm sorry but I don't understand why this restaurant is rated this high. My partner and I both ordered the "grilled" chicken with steamed vegetables, but what we received looked more like a chicken fillet that was cooked in broth instead of grilled. It was very tasteless and uninspirational. The veggies served with it consisted of carrot, potatoes and a green veggie I didn't recognize. On the menu it says that the "grilled" meat dishes are all served with rice, salad, fried green mashed plantains or french fries. I chose the French fries and my partner chose rice. In the end when we asked the bill, they charged us extra for the rice and french fries which is very strange since the menu says it's served with the meat dishes, so it's included right? Overall we had a negative experience and the ambiance was just not it. They played music while they were cooking our meal, but before and after that it was dead silent. Just not a cozy setting. We do not recommend this "grill" restaurant.

  Our family of 5 spent 3 days on the Island of Ometepe in Nicaragua. We had the pleasure to spend our nights at July's (pronounced Julie's) Grill and Steakhouse. The manager, Julio Caesar is not only a damn good chef, he was also a great concierge. He organized a tour for us across the whole island. He also organized a horseback trip for us the next day! The vibe is very "tranquilo" at July's. No one will ever come bother you about anything. But the staff is quick to assist. If we ever go back to Paradise AKA Ometepe Island, we will definently stay at July's. The food is "Forget About It!" delicious . I can't say enough how I love Ometepe and Julio Caesar, our helpful, humble, host!

  Great place for a $5 steak! Usually quiet and also a hostel. Close to downtown but just off the beaten path!

  Recommended by our casa, Nice spot where the food was fine - how can got go wrong with fish chips salad and ice cold beer.
