  I was part of an Intrepid Group traveling Central America & this was our second last stop. This is a nice, colonial, boutique hotel with nice rooms. It’s air conditioned & the shower flooring is nice! Great atmosphere & service. Free breakfast is provided & it’s close to a vegan restaurant, coffee shop, & ice cream place. It’s only a block down the city center. It’s a nice hotel to experience Nicaragua.

  This was a truly lovely place to stay. It had charm and character. The staff were friendly. There was a complimentary breakfast which was delicious. There is a rooftop terrace and in the future there will be a pool which is currently under construction. There is also a water cooler which is a solid marker for a good hotel in such a hot country.

  Hotel Real has a genuine boutique, nostalgic vibe about it. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with handcrafted timber furniture, open green spaces and a rooftop area that gives you perspective on the town of Leon. Great location to markets, churches, parklands and plenty of cafes and restaurants. A pool is currently being constructed which will be a bonus for guests. Had breakfast here and it was delicious. Most grateful for the fresh fruit and eggs. Staff are delightful and always there to help out. Bedrooms comfy and wifi strong. Well worth checking out.

  Clean, friendly, basic hotel not far from the centre of Leon. Great rooftop for sunset. There was building work going on when we stayed to put in a small swimming pool (which would be a welcome relief from the heat). We left the hotel before breakfast but the lovely ladies provided coffee, cake and fruit for us before we set off.

  I just stayed 6 nights in this hotel, it’s very convenient and close to everything just a few streets down from parque central and cathedral. Breakfast was delicious every day, staff always nice, friendly and very efficient. Would definitely stay here again. If you are looking for a nice quiet hotel close to everything this is the one. They will have a pool and bar in just a few weeks to cool down on those hot days in Leon. Thanx to everyone at hotel real for the great attention.
