  I stayed at this hotel for 12 days. It was one of the best stays I have had at any hotel. The owner Aldo Celebertti and his mother Myriam made me feel like a guest in their home. Myriam would personally take my free breakfast order and Aldo took a great interest in my stay and gave me a lot of useful suggestions on things to do and places to see. The location is perfect between the two popular parks in the town. Parque Morazan and Parque Dario, with plenty of little restaurants all around. The room I had was large with windows, a king size bed, air conditioning and bathroom with a walk in shower. Very quiet and comfortable. Aldo arranged a trip to Granada for me. He booked a hotel that gave ma a special rate and arranged a taxi to and back from Granada. One morning Aldo drove me up to the resort of Selva Negra and then showed me his friends farm and then drove me up to a look out point from where the whole town on Matagalpa was visible. Splendid views. Aldo also helped me get a COVID PCR test done at the hotel for my return to the US. He saved me a day trip to get the test done in Managua.at a cost of $150. Finally he arranged a car to take me to the airport at 2 A.M. His help made my stay a very pleasant one and I hope to go back there next year.

  These people are amazing they treat you like family, it's a family owned and runned business its Aldo and his Mother. Aldo speaks really good English and will get you anywhere you want to go. They greeted us with a fresh passion fruit drink. Excellent! Also the Mother brought my wife a rice dessert while she was reading on the patio. The hotel was their home. They added onto the house. Beautifully done. They were the venue for a wedding the day we left. Honestly cannot say one negative thing. Definitely the best hotel in Matagalpa. We will be back.

  Great location to center of town, very clean and wifi and AC are great! We came into town very late, but Miriam assured me they would keep the doors open for us and they did. A nice place for a Matagalpa visit. 😊
