::Had the most incredible experience. The view from the all areas was spectacular: bar, lounge, dining room, patio, and room. You wake up to the volcano and lake in the background and a fantastic place for a morning workout, yoga, or coffee on your rooms patio. Then the staff. I legit felt like family and so taken care of. They even cooked custom meals for my diet without complaint. Both spanish and english are spoken! A must visit gem in the area.

::This hotel was our first place to stay in my family’s trip to Nicaragua. It was a great start to our trip! The service is amazing and the owner and workers were very nice and friendly throughout our stay and the food was great! The pool was definitely the best part of the place, and so was the cute resident dog. The owner was helpful in directing us towards other places in the area, and was very accommodating. Highly recommend this place!

::Lives up to its name. From the time you drive through the electric gate and up to the view point you realize you have indeed arrived in heaven. The entire property is built around the amazing view of Volcano Mayasa and the laguna. Close enough to some attractions like the volcanos, granada and lakes to make day trips. The service on the property is top notch, nearly 1 to 1 ratio of staff to guest, food is simple and delicious Nicaraguan cuisine, rooms are comfortable (remember its an eco lodge so cuts are made to keep it green). Its a shame that tourism is slow right now due to political fears, more reason to come enjoy the lodge while rooms are available. Side note: Google Maps doesn't know the difference between a donkey trail and actual dirt road so don't follow the shortest method, drive through the city and come the long way.

::This is actually not a bad looking property. That said, the service is quite (very) poor, pool/grounds were real dirty and food was exceptionally bad - for these reasons we were about to rate this place 2-3 stars. But allow me to tell you about the owner of this place and why we therefore rated this place 1 star. We decided to visit Nicaragua at a rather “troublesome” time. The country is so beautiful and is going through some unfortunate political discussions right now. As a result of this the “climate” can change on any given day. Well, the climate turned materially worse on a Friday - as a result tons of roads were getting blocked - we simply had to get out quickly - all nothing the hotel had direct control over. But what did the owner of this completely desolate property do when we vocalized this? He held us captive telling us there’s no way to get out (very nonchalantly) - and that we should wait until tomorrow (when our stay was officially done). Why? Because he paid for “goods” for our stay - and wanted to recover the expense. He convinced us the roads were blocked to get out - and FORTUNATELY we did not believe him and contacted our friends who got us out of the area and safely away so we could get out if the country - and thank god as it’s gotten even worse since. So...that’s how this owner thinks. And the apple doesn’t fall far - we voiced this to the staff who had the same reactions - and we saw signs before this - the staff are largely negligent and consequently demotivated but now we understand why - they’re terrified of their owner.

::One of the most utterly unique settings/views you're likely to find in a hotel anywhere on Earth. Rooms are colorful and adorned with local art. Very Nicaragua. The host, Don Juan Carlos, and the staff are very helpful and engaging. It's expensive, but worth the splurge.
