::very nice, very quiet place, for camper too super nice owners. Michael is from Penzberg, Bavaria, Germany and Ivania from Nicaragua. You can walk upstream a creek and come to a mini waterfall. we swam there and saw spidermonkeys, howlermonkeys and lots of butterflies. there is also a restaurant with good prices, very good food and very large portions. the margaritas were great too. There are 2 very nice dogs and you can also buy fresh eggs. This place is highly recommended.

::A great place to stay near the border, I camped here with my own tent as all the rooms were full, nice dinner and breakfast. Good wifi and very friendly owners thank you.

::I had a great stay, the lovely couple who run the lodge were very helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic and the room was clean, comfortable and had a large bed. Hope to be back soon.

::Good hotel near the border with Costa Rica. Clean, nice rooms and quiet. The owner's wife cooks delicious dinner and breakfast. If you stay 2 nights you have time for a tour of the Finca with Michael. Really recommended!!

::A lovely stay at Blue Morpho. The breakfasts are included and wonderful. The couple who own the small farm are really lovely and friendly. A German and Nicaraguan couple. Note that this place is not on any tourist trail so don't be expecting any restaurants or tours locally. What you should expect is getting away from it all and creative with your time. Walk up the riverbed to find butterflies, loads of wild monkeys and rare fresh water crabs defending their territory. Swim in the lake on a windy day and play in the waves. Take a tour of the farm with the owner and learn about how to make a house "off the grid" with solar, wind, a well and so on.... Very easy to get to the boarder from here.
