::The food is good but the portions are small compare to prices.

::I would certently mentioned that theye have a very good service, though, there are some areas of improvements since staff needs to be more customer oriented and be able to provide an outstanding customer service on the other hand, for loca people I am afraid to say that the prices are extreamly high.

::This place is very nice. Swimming pool is big and clean. Good variety of food. Food and beverage prices are higher then the average restaurant. You also have to pay 50 cords extra per person to have pool access. Bathrooms are very clean. Staff is attentive.

::I was invited to go for a mountain bike ride with my lovely AirBnB family (backroad from Caretera Sur a Caretera Masaya) with this as our destination. What a terrific outing. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and I was the lone gringa. If you're looking for a taste of Nicaraguan life you will find it here. The story behind the vision of the brothers who built and run the center is inspirational. Super clean and well run. I tried the bull testicle soup- gotta have stories to share with my sons! - but there is something for everyone on the menu.

::My family and I were studying Spanish nearby at the Mariposa Spanish School. We had a FANTASTIC time in Nicaragua and stayed with a local family for two weeks in San Juan la Concepcion. We attended the Pool here on Sunday for the second time and were treated very badly. The first time there we were charged the full price for using the pool even though we bought food and drinks. There was supposed to be a discount if you buy food and drinks. The second time we came we were trying to treat our Home-Stay family to a swimming day outing, as they would be unable to afford to swim at the pool on their own. From the moment we arrived we were told that we could not sit at the tables if we were not ordering food. We were forced to sit in the sun chairs surrounding the pool even though it was raining that day. We were treated like we were unwanted even though we paid the full price of 100 Cordobas/person for 11 people to swim and even bought many drinks for everyone, with plenty of beer for ourselves. It truly seemed like Americans were not welcomed there. We were excited to come spend our hard-earned money to help support the local economy and to treat our home stay family to a fun day, but the staff and management at the Centro Receativo La Concha made us feel like unwanted pests! This was the ONLY place in Nicaragua, out of MANY tourist spots, restaurants, excursions, hotels, cities, services, kiosks, local tours and other places where we felt unwelcomed. At every other place in Nica' we felt welcomed and well cared for. Whoever owns this business needs to have a serious chat with their employees about 'customer service!' US citizens beware. The only words to describe the service we got here was 'petty and uncaring!
