  I Never staid here but the shuttle service is the worst in human history. They can’t even count how much tickets they sold and how much space in the shuttle they need then. They just left us at hush Maderas ! Especially they started selling more tickets even the shuttle was full already. Thanks for that casa oro ! Great place !

  Excellent value for the money. I had a private room for $12 a night. It was safe, clean-ish, bed relatively comfortable with an attached bathroom and shower. It's in the middle of town, with very walkable access to everything. Good vibes from the other people staying there. There was cheap yoga on the rooftop every couple of days. Regular shuttles for cheap to the nearby beaches. Reasonably priced breakfast, coffee and drinks in the hostel coffeeshop. Landry just across the street. Definitely a place you could comfortably stay long term if you wanted.

  great hostel! yummy free breakfast, good vibes, good common areas, perfectly social! great location, with a big rooftop with a nice view of the town. only downside was that we got a private room with AC, but the AC did not work and there were no outside windows, so it was quite hot, but manageable. also the wifi wasn't always great. otherwise it's a great spot for a good price! would stay here again :)

  Service was terrible. I extended my booking for 1 day. In the evening, at 9PM new people arrive to the room and we realize we are 5 ppl in a room of 4. We go to reception to figure out the problem. The guy there cannot understand what's going on for 30mins. First he wanted to move another guy who wasn't there to another room (just because the guy wasn't there and couldn't say something). Then it turns out they didn't put my booking in their system, even though I paid for it. He wants to throw me out of the hostel unless I pay a second time, because I can't present a receipt for my original payment (they didn't give me a receipt and the two girls who just arrived didn't have a receipt either). We keep arguing for almost 2 hours in the evening. Not possible to speak to a manager either. In the end, I had to pay a second time to avoid being thrown out the hostel and I had to be moved to another room in the middle of the night. Terrible experience. Apart from that rooms are good for the price. Location is also nice, very close to the beach. Breakfast is ok

  I stayed here 7 years ago and now again. Same experience. Good value for money. Nice beds with curtains for privacy. Bathroom is not beautiful but it works. Some hand soap was missing. Airco room is fine to sleep in. People in the hostel are bit more older I feel and more chill.
