::This store "La Colonia" has been around for over 40 years and it appears it is the headquarters and training for their staff. The store is always clean, personnel is friendly and the products, service and items are simply superb! It is important to denote that the "La Colonia" supermarkets does not compete with price with bigger chains like WalMart. Be glad they don´t because if you are willing to pay more for more variety and better service, then this is your place. This store has several imported foods, a section for ethnic tastes, so if you want to prepare Sushi, Indian, French or Spaniard cuisine, then here is where you can find some fine ingredients. Equally, it has a decent wine section, so you can get some decent wine from other places. Finally, there is the checkout. The staff is always friendly, and unlike WalMart where to find the store manager is equivalent to finding a ghost, the manager is always visible at La Colonia. More important, they will get you or order the items you request. Imagine that WalMart!!! On your way out, they will always have someone to bag and carry out your groceries. If you are looking for quality, variety, and service, while you do not mind paying for this, then I can tell you will be pleased to visit La Colonia supermarkets

::The best supermarket in town. A/A, very clean place, good products, no foul odors, multiple brand choices. Even if there is a difference from others (5% in price), does worth it.
