  I loved my stay here! The staff members were so friendly! While I was here, there was only one couple staying the same dates as me. I felt like I had the place all to myself. I'm a digital nomad and this place was the perfect retreat for me! The wifi worked perfectly all over the property. There were a few power outages, but they only lasted a few seconds and never interfered with my work schedule. I loved that the fridge was stocked with wine and beer, especially since there aren't really any grocery stores nearby. The breakfast was amazing and I felt really safe here as a solo female traveler. The beach is less than a 5 min walk away, and you can spend hours watching the surfers or just walking along the beach. I would definitely stay here again and have recommend this place to several people during my travels in Nicaragua!

  One of the few places I actually think looks BETTER in real life. Lovely quiet space - really tranquil communal areas and very nicely designed. Staff are lovely. 5 min walk to the beach.

  Monoloko Lodge is only a short walk away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The owners and staff are all very friendly and accommodating. I looked forward to ordering breakfast from the lovely staff each morning. I’m gluten free and had no problems getting my fill of a well balanced breakfast every morning. The cabins are clean, nicely decorated and equipped with hot water and ceiling fans. The pool was well maintained and very clean as well. Everyone there made me feel right at home. I stayed for 1 week but would’ve loved to have stayed longer and plan on staying there again the next time I visit Popoyo. Xx

  I cannot say enough what a joy this place is. The cabanas are beautiful and beautifully appointed, a treat for the eyes. The pool is a getaway in itself 👌🏽👌🏽 Claire and Sacha are incredibly kind and attentive, as are their lovely team, and they are helpful and gracious in a 1000 ways plus 1. Delish breakfast, and the most serene little hop right to the beach, a joy in itself too. I sort of wish I lived here

  What a place! So friendly, so clean, so good. Monoloko is nicely designed with amazing details everywhere you look. The common areas and swimming pool are a perfect place to relax, location is close to the beach, good access to multiple surfspots. The hosts are super friendly, nice & helpful and make the whole experience of staying here a real pleasure.
