  Wonderfully charming small hotel, three blocks from Leon’s main plaza. Delightful ambiance, excellent service.

  There are lots of positive things about this hotel- fair price, good/hot breakfast, and well-insulated rooms so that they stay cool even when the a/c is off. The king bed felt amazing after other hotels in Nicaragua with smaller beds. However, the cleaning staff was a bit intrusive, rearranging our things like suitcases, baby bed, shoes, things on the nightstand, etc. I didn't feel comfortable with that.

  I was assisted by a lovely young lady (Eugenia), who helped me when I was tired, a little sick and had just arrived to the city from a long ride. She was so kind, friendly and hospitable at a time when I needed it most. Thank you Eugenia for your professional demeanor and support.

  Don’t stay here! I fell for the reviews but am so disappointed. Upon check in the room is hot as an oven because you can only have ac on when key is engaged. That means if you leave for a bit you need to wait over an hour for it cool off when you get back. You can’t really let it cool as you enjoy a drink either because then room will be unlocked. At least don’t expect the room to be cool during the day or evening as you come and go. It’s more air con just for sleeping. The air con makes a horrible high pitch sound and bedding is pretty gross. I stayed at a place in Granada for half as much and bathroom, bedding, air con and atmosphere were exponentially nicer. I’m guessing the apartments here are nicer and get the good reviews. I’m relying on a fan to stay cool which is ridiculous for a place that tries to sell itself as nicer than the rest. There isn’t really a window - just your door which looks out to a balcony that looks out over the roof and hotel walls. I never leave reviews but I’m hoping to save someone the disappointment.

  Great service, clean rooms, beautiful courtyard, and pool. Breakfast was great and the staff is super friendly and accomidating. Beautiful old colonial building. Can't wait to return. This was my second time staying at this hotel and is my go to spit when staying in the city of Leon
