::The BEST Chicken Fritanga in Granada! It's local and very affordable. For about $3 USD we got a big grilled chicken, with gallo pinto (rice & beans), fried cheese, salad, and sweet plantains with LA GRAMA, such a refreshing drink! They open at 6pm. It's worth the wait. The service is fast and this is a must in Granada!

::This pop-up restaurant only appears in the evenings for dinner (but I also got a late lunch on a Sunday I think), but you can't miss it because of the crowd of locals. Both the chicken Frito and the chicken tacos (which seem identical to Mexican flautas to me) are fantastic. The frito is a bed of plantain chips inside a banana leaf pouch, with the meat and fried bananas on top. The pork (cerdo) was excellently seasoned but a bit tough. I recommend the chicken, which was C$150. On the day I got lunch, they had several other meat options in sauce and lasagna. The jalapeño pork and the lasagna were most popular with the locals. I got fried pork with gallo pinto, salad, and fried bananas for C$100. Fantastic value and it was delicious.

::Fast service, good food... the salad is not the best but meat is fine. No rice on the menu tho.
