Lovely little family run cafe/restaurant right on the lake. Food is local and fresh. The portion sizes are big and the flavor is great. Julia and the rest of her family are very friendly and welcoming and their little patio is shaded with a lovely breeze off the lake so even in the heat of the day it's cool and shady there. The prices are also very reasonable and cheap compared to the restaurants inside the hotels and hostels. They serve all meals and we enjoyed a great breakfast one day and lunch another. Our favorite little hidden gem.

Lovely place! I came here twice because the sandwich con pollo y queso was that good! The fries are amazing as well. For sure ask for a cafe con leche y azucar y hielo! They make the best! You are seated very near the beach and can see the beautiful birds and waves in front of you.

My son and have been on Ometepe for 3 days and this was the best local Nicaraguan meal we had. That garlic sauce is awesome! Muy delicioso, gracias! 😀

We stopped here on our ATV for some local lunch and weren’t disappointed. Great views and the staff were lovely and friendly. We ordered some beautiful fresh fish and chicken - cooked to perfection . Would recommend for anyone in the area!

Julia was very kind and accommodating. She and her husband were happy to prepare us a beautiful breakfast with heaping mounds of fresh fruit and deliciously cooked pancakes/omelettes/nica breakfasts! Albeit rustic and simple, the spot is beautiful and comfortable. It was our best stop on the island and we highly recommend it to anyone passing through. A gem of a place, you will not be disappointed. Ps. The pancakes came with a scrumptious Calala honey!
