  There’s an interesting appearance at first, great facilities that allows guests to enjoy a beautiful view of the lake Laguna de Apoyo. There is a menu given, at the time of ordering your meal, there is only a picture in the waiter’s phone that shows the real menu, which is poor. A lot to improve with the dishes and flavors. Alcoholic drinks are served efficiently as well ad juices. Guests are welcome to enjoy kayaking and wear lifesavers during their swimming time. This is a beauty of nature and it is worth to enjoy.

  We went for the day and used the day pass. Loved that it was hidden in the trees. We relaxed, swam and had lunch. The staff was very nice. Would go again and maybe stay overnight next time!

  After spending ten days at this piece of paradise, I can highly recommend Casa Marimba. The attention to detail shows in every aspect of this resort. The tropical waterfront setting is well laid out to enable easy access to the water while still allowing for private space for relaxation. The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the resort. Food is delicious and the menu has something for everyone, including vegetarian and vegan options. The staff and owners of the resort are so friendly and welcoming, making you feel like family. Although day passes are available for Casa Marimba, I would encourage a longer stay, at least a few nights, to fully embrace the serenity of this wonderful oasis. The staff is more than happy to help arrange day trips to nearby attractions while making the resort your home away from home. Thank you Casa Marimba!!

  Our family had such a memorable vacation at this little-known paradise, thanks to Rafa and his very dedicated team. Our room was well appointed, the food was finger-licking good and the staff always ready to go above and beyond. What really stood out for us was the attention to detail everywhere, from the room decor to the presentation of food. Highly recommended for families with little kids not afraid to turn the screens off and tune into nature.

  Staying at Casa Marimba was amazing!! such a wonderful place, located at the best spot of the Laguna, with a beautiful atmosphere. We loved everything about this location, everything was really beautiful, all little places and corners were really well taken care of. Very nice and quiet this time of year. The staff was also amazing, they had a good eye for what their guests want but without being too present. The food was great, breakfast was also lovely. I stayed with a friend, if you are travelling around and need a place to relax and spoil yourself a little bit this is perfect. I was really sick the days prior and could not have wished for a better place to recover.
