Had beautiful time for a few days a las peñitas, staying at Caracolito! Beautiful chilling vibe and friendly staff! Kitchen also available, plenty of space to relax and socialise! Thank you Caracolito!

We spent a week there, lovely atmosphere. Matteo is such a nice guy! We’re definitely going to miss this place. We also met wonderful people there.

Thank you for the most amazing time. We stayed at Caracolito for almost 2 months and it became our second home. The people are sweet, caring and have open hearts and minds. You‘ll feel super safe and welcomed here. There are a lot of possibilities to live out your creativity, to built and craft, to chill in one of the many hammocks, try out your balance skills on the slackline or hang out at the bar. The sunsets at the playa are the most beautiful ones we have ever seen and the restaurants and bars have a nice variety of cocktails and food (also some vegan stuff). It’s the perfect mix between being able to party with the locals and just relax in the hostel or at the beach. The Surf-Team (Andrew, Osmar, Kelvin, Alex, Patricio) are cool and reliable guys and very good teachers and always willing to help you to discover new skills or give you your first surf-lesson. Thank you also to Larry, Lesber, Luisa, Ashley and Amalia for your lovely energy and thank you Matteo for taking us in and letting us be a part of your family.

Nice hostel with fully equipped kitchen. Depending on if you want to party, or keep it low key, there are rooms located near the bar as well as the back of the hostel. We stayed in "Poncho" the converted VW van. It was towards the back of the property so we had no issues with noise. Mateo, the host was kind and welcoming. Free water, cheap board rentals, and breakfast in the morning if you want it. If you don't like noise, be an adult and ask for a room towards the back.

We’re staying for two nights and it’s incredibly loud here. Were looking for a quiet atmosphere but there are apparently no sleeping times in this place. Music until 1am at night. The dorms are open windows and right next to the bar as well as the private room, in which we stayed in. You can hear every word and the speaker has a lot of bass. One of the worst stays ever.
