::It was one of the best places I stayed in Ometepe. It's probably the best spot to see the sunset. "Uber" who is running this place was totally friendly and helped with all the information I needed. Even Selina, the kitchen lady, was so nice. The prices are more than affordable. I never paid so little for a Cuba Libre, haha. If you go to Ometepe, go to this place, even if it's just to enjoy the beautiful sunset and having a drink. Todo lo mejor a ustedes, ojalá vuelva un día.

::We did a kayak tour with Jasir and it was amazing! Jasir was such a great guide and was able to spot so much wildlife (birds, caiman, bats, lizards) which is exactly what we were hoping for! We had so much fun on this tour and kayaking with Jasir. We ate dinner at the restaurant after and it was so delicious! My husband got the fresh grilled fish and he loved it. The views are fantastic and great atmosphere all around.

::The restaurant is great and fish is delicious! I also highly recommend caballitos for any organised tours in Merida. We had Neto for an amazing kayak tour where we saw lots of Cayman straight from caballitos and also for the Maderas volcano trek from Merida where he was incredibly patient, safe and great fun! ::Reviewing restaurant only as we didn’t stay here. Ok everyone - do yourself a favour and get down to this place and order the pollo miel. It’s chicken cooked with honey and 7yr aged rum and we went back 3 nights in a row for it. Mind blowingly tasty stuff. Relaxed atmosphere. Kind staff. For the perfect evening I suggest renting a kayak from here from 4-7 for a sunset kayak (we were charged 100 cordobas for each kayak - no guide because you don’t need one). Then back for supper and beers. My favourite evening of our whole time on Ometepe. X

::I have had delicious dinners here every time I've come to this place. If they have fresh fish available be sure to try it. You can't be in a hurry. This is where you should enjoy the sunset and relax. Have a cerveza and take in one of the last places on this planet that's not been overrun by humans.
