::At the moment we got in it seemed like we made a mistake. The hostel employees weren’t too kind, the rooms had a bad smell, air condition is on only between 6pm and 6am, and even then you can die from heat in the room. Rooms are too small for the amount of people. Laud all the day with bad music coming out of huge speakers. I truly recommend not to come here!

::Did the Volcano boarding with Big Foot and it was phenomenal! Everyone was so helpful and responded instantly to any queries prior to the experience, the guides were keen on sharing interesting facts about the area and the volcano in particular, they made the experience very enjoyable with their jolly/lovely personalities. Safe activity if you listen to the guide when he gives instructions. After the volcano boarding you get back to the hostel in a party bus which is such a vibe with great music, people and drinks! Got my adrenaline AND party fix yesterday - thank you so much team! x

::Only did the Volcano Boarding tour here, and my negative review could by influenced by a really cool sandboarding trip I did in the desert in Peru which got my hopes up. Let's start positive: the hosts were enthusiastic and in terms of a few snacks, quiet some alcohol and party they took good care of us - which may be expected for the quiet high fee. The view on top of the volcano is stunning! But, as I came for the boarding, that was slightly underwhelming. We had a huge group of around 40, so there's a lot of waiting around while hiking. I estimate that from our group, only 20% really managed to go down boarding as fast, good or happy as anticipated. Also 3 or 4 ended up being injured and you just get one try. Would definitely recommend anyone that gets the chance, to go sandboarding somewhere as that is a way better experience. (or if you've done that already, don't bother, this activity will probably not as satisfactory).

::We had a private room. It was hot. It was humid. There was no window. Sometimes we opened our door to get some oxygen in. But since this (storage) room was in between the kitchens and the workshop, fleshfumes and noice filled our room instead. We switched to another hostel after 2 sweaty noicy nights in this barren moldy room. This is a party hostel. So if you just want to party, the alcohol might help you to actually sleep in here.

::We had book a volcano boarding tour with this hostel but didn't stay for any night. The tour is really great. The guide gave great explanation about the volcano, the region and how to ride your board. On the way back to the city, we had quite a party. The bus looks like a disco. Really a nice experience.
